Ice painting

There are three possibilities to get a brilliant white ice surface:

• painting of the ice,
• icing of of coat paper or coarsely-meshed gauze
• floor painting.

White shining ice is not only important for a good optical impression but for the light refection and energy efficiency as well.

The easiest and low cost way of ice painting is brushing a mixture of chalk or white powder colour and water on the ice by a spraying pistol. Another way to have a perfect white ice is the use of coat paper or coarsely-meshed gauze. But please check for air pockets! In professional ice arenas the use of tools is essential to get a premium quality of ice or floor painting. We recommend the “Whitemaker” or the use of the Jet Ice system.
